I have been lucky enough to have had this cute little family as clients for 4 years now! I have watched this family grow after their son was born and I’ve watched their daughter grow into this silly, spunky little lady. We always meet in the fall at Greenmeade Park in Livonia Michigan. It’s such a great location offering grassy fields, vintage buildings and beautiful fall foliage. This family is the master of lifestyle sessions. The kids play and mom and dad are always so relaxed, which makes for great images. I always start my family sessions with the posed shots where everyone is looking at the camera, then the family and I hang out while capturing the real raw moments. My directions are “pretend like I’m not here, have fun and just love on each other.” I believe that the best images are made when families can just be themselves. That is when I capture the real connection!!
